Access to PF Statements
Towards providing efficient service delivery and information related to pension and provident fund to the members, this year we have uploaded the pension and provident Fund Annual Statement of all individual members by surface mail.
All the Human Resource and Personnel Officers of the Ministries and Agencies can now directly access their employees’ Pension and Provident Fund Annual Statement directly from our website by entering “Agency Code Number” provided in the NPPF Contribution Deposits Invoice.
We would therefore request all the HR and Personnel Officers to kindly access the Pension and Provident Fund Annual Statements from our website for further distribution to the members.
Individual members can also access their own Annual Statements by registering and logging in to our website.
We earnestly request the HR and Personnel Officers of all agencies to kindly facilitate distribution of statements to the members.

Submission of Loan Application by Email
In order to facilitate the Members residing in different Dzongkhags to avail Education Loan, the NPPF is pleased to announce that it will be accepting Education Loan Applications via e-mail. All interested members can now e-mail the application with scanned supporting documents to kinga@nppf.org.bt. The supporting documents that should be attached are as follows;
- Application form
- ID copy of the applicant & beneficiary
- Two passport sized photographs (applicant & beneficiary)
- Departmental Undertaking
- A copy of pay slip
- Proof of Admission from the School/Institut
Kindly visit our website www.nppf.org.bt to download the application forms and check the Provident Fund balances. Please note that the amount of Education Loan sanctioned shall be equivalent to Provident Fund balances. All are requested to bring along the original documents while collecting the cheque for the loan.

Loan Protection Insurance
This is to notify that the NPPF will be insuring Education Loan below or equal to Nu.500, 000 under the “Loan Protection Insurance.” The insurance will cover risks such as termination and death of a client. In view of its benefits, the insurance cover is mandatory for all clients taking Education Loan and the premium for the insurance shall be debited in the respective loan accounts once every year.

New Pension Benefit Formula
As Approved by the Royal Government vide letter No. MOF/ED/28/2009/9683 dated 22nd December 2009, the NPPF shall continue to apply the pension benefit formula based on pension points till 30th June 2010. The new pension formula based on 40% of average of 24 months basic salary shall be implemented with effect from 1st July 2010.
Accommodation For Rental
One unit Class III residential quarters in the NPPF housing complex at Phuntsholing will be available for rent with immediate effect from February 2010. The interested PF-members in Grade 9-11 who have served for more than 5 years and presently working in Phuntsholing may apply to NPPF Phuntsholing office latest by January 30th 2010 before 12:00(N).

The NPPF shall make the allotment through draw of lottery on 1st February, 2010 at 10:00AM in its office premises at Phuntsholing. The successful applicant shall enter into an agreement with the NPPF and the unit shall be handed over on the same day.The rent for the units shall be payable from 1st February, 2010.
Invitation for Quotation
The National Pension and Provident Fund, Thimphu is pleased to invite sealed quotations for the supply of 6U Rack for Housing Switch.
A complete set of bidding documents along with the specification can be purchased by the interested suppliers on payment of Nu 300/-(non refundable) from the HRM Division, National Pension & Provident Fund, Thimphu from February 6, 2010 during office hours. The bidding documents should be submitted to the Chief Executive Officer, National Pension & Provident Fund, Thimphu on or before February 26, 2010, 12 noon and shall be opened on the same day at 03.00 PM in the presence of the committee members. |
