NPPF always put the need of the community first. We take our Corporate Social Responsibilities very seriously and therefore have come up with services to help our community.
NPPF has initiated the Lotedh Scheme to provide benefit in the event of demise of a pensioner. The Scheme was launched coinciding with the 60th Birth Anniversary of His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo to provide benefit to the family member in the event of demise of pensioner.
The Lodeth scheme is similar to group-insurance scheme whereby pensioners pay a monthly premium, deducted at source from their monthly pension. The part of the premium is paid to RICBL while the remaining goes to the Lotedth trust fund. Membership in the scheme is voluntary; and the pensioners can decide to join the scheme at the time of receiving pension and provident fund benefits from NPPF by completing the form.
The Lodeth Trustee Board manages the scheme and the administrative support is provided by NPPF.
NPPF has instituted the Social Club to coordinate and participate in social works as volunteers in national and local activities including the office activities such as rimdo, picnic, mobilizing donations and helping coworkers during death. The Social Club has eight members headed by a President.
