Housing Loan

Commercial Housing Loan (CHL)


CHL shall be provided for the purpose of construction/repair/purchase of house/building/apartment strictly for the purpose of generating income, either from business activity, resale of property or rental or lease income.


  • Purpose/Objectives : The Loan aims at financing to best meet your individual investment needs in construction & repairs of house/building and purchase of flats strictly for the purpose for generating profit.
  • Eligibility : should be a current NPPF member
  • Security: Land and building that is being financed.
  • Quantum:

CH Loan
Up to Nu. 50 million 70%
More than Nu. 50 million 60%

  • Interest Rate: 10.5% p.a.
  • Tenure: 20 years.
  • Repayment: The repayment of the loan must be meet from 100 % of the rental income.

In line with RMA’s notification on the 3rd revision of MLR from 6.66% to 6.51% dated August 03, 2017, the National Pension and Provident Fund (NPPF) would like to inform that there is no change in the interest rates for member loan products. However, interest rate for corporate clients has been revised.
