About the division

The Provident Fund Division looks after the Defined Contribution (Tier 2) portion of the National Pension & Provident Fund Plan (NPPFP) and and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Provident Fund (PF) including collections, deposits, managing individual accounts and payment of benefits under the Civil scheme and the Armed Foces scheme.

The Provident Fund Division also manages the information system of all the NPPFP Members.
