Notice to All NPPF Members and Employing Agencies  

The National Pension and Provident Fund (NPPF) currently manage over 69,000 members from the civil service, armed forces, corporate entities, and private companies — a number that continues to grow annually.   With this increasing membership base, updating and maintaining accurate member records has become a critical operational challenge. To ensure compliance with NPPF’s rules and regulations, members and employing agencies are requested to extend their cooperation by adhering to the following guidelines:   Advice to Members:   Update your PF nominee details by completing the “Spouse, Children, and Nomination Updating Form” available on the NPPF website, and attach all relevant documents as mentioned in the form.   Submit a confirmation letter to NPPF within five (5) working days from the PF contribution date if you:   Resign from one agency and join another, or   Continue service in the same agency.  Failure to do so will result in the continuation of contributions in the same PF account number. NPPF will not entertain requests for claims or corrections thereafter.   Advice to Employing Agencies:   Submit enrolment forms of new employees to NPPF within five (5) working days of their joining the service — before depositing the PF contribution. NPPF will issue the PF account number to update your records.   Submit appointment letters clearly indicating whether the employee is regular or contractual.   Notify NPPF of any change in employment type (regular ↔ contract) within five (5) working days from the effective date, enclosing the appointment letter.   Deposit any penalty for late PF contribution within five (5) working days of receiving the penalty letter.   Clearly indicate the nature of relieving/separation in the official order — (Voluntary Resignation, Superannuation, Compulsory Retirement, Termination, or Demise).   Newly established agencies required to deduct PF must inform NPPF and submit necessary documents.   All member agencies must deposit the monthly PF contribution and submit the PF contribution schedule (as per NPPF’s remittance format available on the website) before the 10th of the following month.   Any EOL (Extraordinary Leave) or Non-contributory period must be immediately reported to NPPF.   Category   Mobile No.   Contribution Remittance   17449087   Civil Claims   77275143  AF Claims   17600832   Personal Information Updation   17338982   Your cooperation is essential in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of member data for efficient service delivery.   Sincerely, Management,  National Pension and Provident Fund,  Thimphu, Bhutan.

Notification: Temporary Suspension of Loan Transactions from 1-17 June 2026 

NPPF would like to inform our valued customers that with effect from June 1-17, 2026, new loan processing and repayment transactions will be suspended temporarily for system migration. During this period: New loan applications will not be accepted. Online loan repayments through MBOB, MPAY, and EPAY will be disabled. All are requested to make loan repayments by 31st May 2026.  Normal operations will resume from 18th June 2026. Notice on Planned Dismantling and Redevelopment of Buildings at NPPF Complex

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN   This is to inform that the National Pension and Provident Fund (NPPF) plans to dismantle five old buildings located within the NPPF Complex, Thimphu, tentatively by June 2026. The existing structures will be replaced with new residential buildings featuring upgraded infrastructure and improved land utilisation.  NPPF will ensure that all dismantling and subsequent construction activities are carried out safely and in an orderly manner, with minimal inconvenience to the surrounding neighbourhood.  This notice is issued for your kind information and acknowledgement. Implementation of 5% GST on Selected NPPF Services Effective 1 January 2026- NPPF

Notice: Temporary Suspension of Pension and PF Refund Payment

Please be informed that all Pension and Provident Fund refund payments will be temporarily suspended from December 26, 2025 until January 15, 2026 due to the year-end closing of the books of accounts for the year 2025. Public Notification: Temporary Suspension of New Loan Applications

​​The National Pension and Provident Fund (NPPF) hereby informs all valued members and stakeholders that receiving Loan applications will be temporarily suspended from Monday, 22 December 2025 to 31 December 2025. The temporary suspension is necessitated for clearing of pending loan applications and to ensure the successful completion of year-end closing activities. The New loan applications will resume from 1 January 2026. NPPF sincerely appreciates your understanding and cooperation during this period as we work towards strengthening service delivery and ensuring a smooth transition into the new financial year 2026.

ANNOUNCEMENT- Annual Accounts Closing Notification, 2025

NPPF would like to inform members and its agencies and loan clients that the annual closing of accounts for the year 2025 is approaching soon. Important Notice to NPPF Members and Employing Agencies on Record Update and Compliance Requirements

To ensure compliance with NPPF’s rules and regulations, members and employing agencies are requested to extend their cooperation by adhering to the following guidelines:  Advice to Members:  Update your PF nominee details by filling in the spouse, children and nomination updating form and attach relevant documents mentioned in the form. (You can find the form here: UPDATION FORM) Submit a confirmation letter by the member whether to continue in the same PF account after resigning from one agency and join another agency or continue service in the same agency within 5 working days of PF contribution date. If the member fails to inform NPPF within 5 working days of PF contribution deposit, the member’s PF contribution will be continued in the same account number and NPPF will not entertain any requests for claim for the old PF account thereafter.   Advice to Employing Agencies:  To submit enrolment forms of new employees to NPPF within 5 working days after the employee joins the service. This must be done before depositing PF contribution. Subsequently, NPPF will send NPPF PF account number to the member’s agency to update their system.    To submit an appointment letter clearly stating whether the employee is recruited as a regular or on contract.   To inform NPPF about the change in employment type (from regular to contract or vice versa) by submitting appointment letters within 5 working days of effective date of change in employment type.  To deposit any penalty charged on late PF contribution deposit within 5 working days on receipt of penalty letter from NPPF.   To clearly state the relieving nature of the member in the relieving/separation order.
