Notice to All NPPF Members and Employing Agencies
The National Pension and Provident Fund (NPPF) currently manage over 69,000 members from the civil service, armed forces, corporate entities, and private companies — a number that continues to grow annually. With this increasing membership base, updating and maintaining accurate member records has become a critical operational challenge. To ensure compliance with NPPF’s rules and regulations, members and employing agencies are requested to extend their cooperation by adhering to the following guidelines: Advice to Members: Update your PF nominee details by completing the “Spouse, Children, and Nomination Updating Form” available on the NPPF website, and attach all relevant documents as mentioned in the form. Submit a confirmation letter to NPPF within five (5) working days from the PF contribution date if you: Resign from one agency and join another, or Continue service in the same agency. Failure to do so will result in the continuation of contributions in the same PF account number. NPPF will not entertain requests for claims or corrections thereafter. Advice to Employing Agencies: Submit enrolment forms of new employees to NPPF within five (5) working days of their joining the service — before depositing the PF contribution. NPPF will issue the PF account number to update your records. Submit appointment letters clearly indicating whether the employee is regular or contractual. Notify NPPF of any change in employment type (regular ↔ contract) within five (5) working days from the effective date, enclosing the appointment letter. Deposit any penalty for late PF contribution within five (5) working days of receiving the penalty letter. Clearly indicate the nature of relieving/separation in the official order — (Voluntary Resignation, Superannuation, Compulsory Retirement, Termination, or Demise). Newly established agencies required to deduct PF must inform NPPF and submit necessary documents. All member agencies must deposit the monthly PF contribution and submit the PF contribution schedule (as per NPPF’s remittance format available on the website) before the 10th of the following month. Any EOL (Extraordinary Leave) or Non-contributory period must be immediately reported to NPPF.
